December in Toronto is beautiful. With the snow falling and the Christmas lights shining, it's a winter wonderland. The city is overflowing with festivals and everyone enjoys the great holiday sales. Put on your skates and have fun skating by city hall. Get ready for good food, warm drinks, Christmas songs, Christmas trees and decorations and some gifts. GEOS Toronto wishes everyone Happy Holidays.

ESL Staff Instructor for GEOS Toronto

Meet Magda, one of our ESL instructors:
Hi there! My name is Magda and I am a teacher at GEOS. For many months, I've had a pleasure working with a wonderful and friendly staff, nice and educated teachers and students from all over the world. I think this is a school for you if you would like to learn or improve your English skills, explore Toronto and also meet new friends. See you soon!

 

 

GEOS - Toronto provides students with many activities to make friends, explore the city, and use their English in real life situations. Every Friday, our interns plan fun events for students to participate in.

Students can take part in fun activities such as a Christmas tree decorating afternoons.

Currently we have 15 Nationalities represented in the school among our 66 students. We extend a warm welcome to all the students studying English with us!

Saudi Arabian: 28.8%
Spanish: 22.7%
Korean: 13.6%
Venezuelan: 7.6%
German and Brazilian: 4.6%
Vietnamese, Russian, and Japanese: 3% each
Ukranian, Cuban, Serbian, Czech, French, and Canadian: 1.5% each

12th Annual December Craft Show-Dec 9-11
Come and join Karen Franzen and friends for a glass of cheer. Crafts for sale include ceramics, chocolate, quilts, jewellery and baskets. Traditional German baked goods will also be for sale. Hours: Friday 6-9; Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 10-5.
