Work as a teacher at GEOS TorontoGEOS Language Academy, Toronto, is a great place to learn English. It is also a great place to work and to teach. GEOS offers a very professional working environment, solid administrative support, professional facilities and resources, and training/advancement opportunities. With schools around the world, GEOS Toronto also offers you the ability to travel and teach throughout our network of schools in North America. GEOS Toronto's English program is certified by Languages Canada. According to this certification, all of our teachers must be certified by TESL Canada, meaning that they must possess a Bachelor's Degree and a teaching certificate in ESL from a certified institution. Or, they must have attended, and be able to document, that their TESL program contained at least 100 hours of theory and 20 hours of practicum. Unfortunately, teaching experience in another country can not replace these criteria. If you have both a Bachelor's Degree and a ESL teaching certificate, you may send your CV to work@geostoronto.com. You may also certainly drop off your CV in person at the school - we will be happy to greet you - but we are not able to meet individually with potential teachers who do wish to visit.
